A Getaway to Folly Beach May Be A Super Idea
One of the Folly Beach Rentals Oceanfront could be precisely what you need. In the event your routine, work requirements and family obligations have recently been pushing you to the limit, then why not push back? Take a small vacation to a place referred to as the “Edge of America” and show everybody you’re completely capable of hanging on firm when confronted with difficulties and letting loose when you realize it’s time.
Folly Beach, Sc will take you just far enough from it all to rest and unwind, so think about making your way to this charming vacation spot as you seek to view things from a different vantage point altogether.Folly Beach has a funny name for being such a safe bet. It’s actually a barrier island that stretches approximately seven miles, and it is located a comfortable eight miles from vibrant Charleston. The sand, sun and fun all comprise the makings of a great time, and together with the rustic charm and legendary southern hospitality of this region of the country, it’s a no-fail recipe for vacation success.
A favorite surfing place, the Washout, features excellent waves for anyone willing to test their boarding expertise. You’ll easily spot the Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier as it stretches plainly into the ocean and gathers together the fun and frivolity that piers are notable for. Most visitors to Folly Beach County Park have the practice of frolicking right down to an art, as this place makes it simple to lose yourself and be a child again. From the umbrella rentals to the picnic areas, you and your family and friends will likely be set to have a properly laughter-filled day on the beach.
Folly Beach is a protection for loggerhead sea turtles, and coming out to observe them nest and go about their daily and nightly business is a major drawing card. The community is focused on protecting and encouraging the security of these sensitive endangered species, so be sure you follow all rules when it comes to observing and existing together with these creatures of the sea.
A number of dining places are available for fulfilling and in many cases defying expectations as to what constitutes a good dinner. Sea food is abundant, as you would imagine, but everyone should find something to love – and eat. The evening can continue as long as you want as you meander down the street and select from various happenin’ porches to view the sunset or the men and women. End all of it with a walk on the shore, romance-novel style, and tell that special someone just how you are feeling.
The last thing that must be mentioned is the Morris Island Lighthouse. Erosion of the beachfront has caused this magnificent landmark to become surrounded by ocean, however the steps of involved residents have helped it to be protected from further damage thanks to an underground steel wall structure. Enjoy this unique sight and the spirit of the caring community that is reflected upon it.
Now that you see a vacation to Folly Beach wouldn’t be a mistake, it’s time to consider lodging. The best complement to a laid-back beachfront trip is a unique accommodation which will promote peacefulness to blossom for you and all your companions; a place which will suit everyone’s needs and provides convenience at the same time. Consider getting one of the Folly Beach Rentals Oceanfront that strikes your fancy – it won’t be too difficult.
Your vacation to the edge is going to be a fun filled one, and the tales you come back with will likely motivate a few other vacationers to stray from the mainstream and check out life as it is seen from the brink of normalcy.

What is a great PRIVATE secluded romantic beach destination for vacation? So I am trying to find a vacation for: 2 people Beach Vacation Non-touristy Romantic Warm From Boston Logan Airport TOTAL Vacation Price Doesn’t Exceed $1600 (includes flight and hotel) For a minimum of 5 days Can you recommend any places/destinations and give me the rates for how much it would cost for everything? It would either be for travel in January, March, or May (preferably the earlier the month, the better)
Depends on which beach you want to see in which part of the world here are a few options – http://amustic.com/search_tour_results?SearchableText=beach&portal_type=Tour&deals=tour&deals=last_minute_deal&deals=promo&review_state=published&sort_on=

I wish I could tell you the best Private beach in the world but it is Private however Koh Samui in Thailand may fit the bill Good Luck!
Try Palawan and Bohol beaches in the Philippines like El Nido, Coron and Panglao!
Where is a good beach vacation spot for teens? My friends and I want to take our Senior trip together to the beach. We live in Tennessee, and we don’t want to have to travel far. We were thinking maybe Florida. We want to go somewhere that isn’t overly crowded, but still has a lot of things for teens to do. Any suggestions?
Virgina Beach area is really nice
I live in Florida – South Beach is nice but very expensive. But there a lot of good deals on hotels because of the economy. Food and bars are expensive.
Cancun!
I would try Rosarito Mexico for a cheaper option. If you live on the west coast you can drive to the border and take the bus. There are tons of things to do in Rosarito, but it still also has the feel of a “real town” as opposed to just a tourist trap. I found an article about it- the article speaks to college kids, but there are plenty of places in Rosarito for older people to go. In fact, most of the college kids go to one or two clubs leaving the rest of the bars for everyone older. Check this out: http://wehow.ehow.com/how_2015575_enjoy-spring-break-rosarito-beach.html
Aruba is a great island, but actually only Oranjestad has great entertainment and great food. It just depends on how long you would like to stay. besidesthat, most of the hotels and resorts are “far” from the citycentre, and you’ll need to take a cab. Curacao I’d like better. There are so many great diner oppertunities on the sea shore, very romantic. They are behind the van der valk hotel, so nice. Party oppertunities everywhere, almost on every corner. Enjoy, on whatever decision you make.
What do you look for when planing a Myrtle Beach vacation? If you were planning a vacation to Myrtle Beach, what would you look for and what resources would you use?
No offense, but I wouldn’t plan a trip to Myrtle Beach…too crowded and commercial for me. State tourism departments are usually a good place to start with in terms of getting travel information though – they’ll usually send you free travel guides and vacation planners.
theres alot of stuff to do there. golf is a big thing in myrtle beach suprisingly & if your going with kids theres a fun place to go called alligator adventure & the hard rock cafe is pretty cool this website is your best bet for finding cool things to do in myrtle beach: http://www.myrtlebeachlive.com/index.cfm?CFID=883108&CFTOKEN=71523051
go to michaels craft store they have an entire ile for kids summer activities. Try side walk chalk and model planes. Kites and other out door things. Or just ask him!
Here’s a great idea Encourage your nephew to take pictures and collect all kinds of memorabilia during his beach vacation. He can then put together a fun beach vacation scrapbook. To learn more, visit http://www.my-family-vacations-page.com/vacation-scrapbooks.html Have fun
Actually you might find this rather cool, especially # 4 the solar powered bug, as it isn’t all that expensive and something that he could build. Perhaps have the boys make these while the girls do more girl like things:) That way he wouldn’t be singled out and the boys are closer together in age anyway. http://www.fatbraintoys.com/toys/toys_by_ages/boys/top_picks_13.cfm model airplanes would also be something they could “craft” together from a kit and use on the beach. http://www.fatbraintoys.com/toy_companies/noted/the_crow_model_airplane_kit.cfm
Where are there good, affordable beach vacation destinations on the East Coast? My boyfriend and I are looking to take a vacation somewhere there is a beach on the East Coast (can be on a lake. doesn’t have to be on the ocean). We are looking to go mid-July. We live in NY and were hoping to go somewhere that we don’t have to drive more than 5 – 6 hours. We are also looking for somewhere affordable, where we can find hotels in mid-July around $200 per night, ideally on the beach or close walking distance. Can anyone suggest specific locations, or even specific hotels that might be nice and affordable?
I dont really remember details, but when I was a kid my parents used to rent a nice condo out in Cape May, New Jersey. It was some of the best vacations of my life. It was literally a five minute walk from the rental house to the beach. If you want a nice, relaxed vacation spot, I’d suggest looking up Cape May.
